Eva and Bill grew up going to Topsail Island as kids each summer. However, it wasn’t until a blind date in Durham, NC, many years later, that they would realize this commonality. Local Revival founder and creative director Summer Taylor also grew up visiting Topsail Island every summer. Fun fact: Eva is Summer’s second cousin! She was thrilled to hear that Eva desired help planning her Topsail Beach wedding that focused on family history, random Topsail Beach facts, and even their two furry best friends.

Eva and Bill hired Local Revival for full-wedding planning services, even though Eva had a clear and specific vision of the design she wanted to see on her wedding day. The package allowed Eva and Bill, extremely busy professionals, to continue giving their jobs their undivided attention during the planning process. More importantly, by allowing Local Revival to handle all of the event’s planning, design, and logistics, there was no need for them to step in when a major wrench was thrown into the design plan. We stepped in to handle the communication (and there was a LOT of it), sorting through the details and meeting with the town of Topsail Beach and even the Fire Chief to figure out an appropriate solution that would satisfy all parties involved. 

Overall, it was a beautiful day with thoughtful and sentimental details, making this one-of-a-kind wedding the party of the year on Topsail Beach, NC!
